Welcome to PoltuDa.in. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of our website and platform that helps users discover local service professionals including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, welders, AC technicians, and other home service providers.

By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PoltuDa.in.

1. Definitions

• "Platform" refers to the PoltuDa.in website and all related services.
• "User" or "Visitor" refers to any individual who browses the Platform to discover and find service professionals. Users do not need to create an account or log in.
• "Service Provider" or "Partner" refers to independent professionals or businesses who register on our Platform to list their services and be discovered by potential customers.
• "Services" refers to home services including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, welding, AC repair, cleaning, and other maintenance services offered by Service Providers.
• "Listing" refers to a Service Provider's profile and service information displayed on the Platform.
• "We," "Our," or "Us" refers to PoltuDa.in and its operators.

2. Nature of Platform

PoltuDa.in is a service provider listing and discovery platform. It is important to understand the following:

• We act solely as a listing directory that displays service provider information to help users find professionals in their area
• We are not a service provider and do not directly provide any home services
• We do not act as a broker, agent, or intermediary in any transaction between users and service providers
• We do not facilitate bookings, payments, or any financial transactions between parties
• All service providers are independent individuals or businesses — they are not employees, agents, or representatives of PoltuDa.in
• Any engagement, communication, negotiation, or transaction between a user and a service provider happens entirely outside our platform and at their own discretion

3. Eligibility

3.1 For Users (Visitors)

Our platform is open to everyone. You can browse and discover service providers without creating an account. No login or registration is required for users.

3.2 For Service Providers (Partners)

To register as a Service Provider on our platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Possess valid identity documents for verification
• Have relevant skills and experience in the services you offer
• Comply with all applicable local laws, licensing requirements, and regulations
• Not have been previously suspended or removed from our Platform

4. Service Provider Account

4.1 Registration

• Service Providers must register an account to create and manage their listing on the Platform
• You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
• You must update your information promptly if it changes
• One person or business may not maintain multiple accounts

4.2 Account Security

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• We recommend using strong, unique passwords

4.3 Account Termination

• You may request deletion of your account at any time by contacting support
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms
• Upon termination, your listing will be removed from the Platform

6. Service Provider Responsibilities

As a registered Service Provider, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information about your skills, experience, and qualifications
• Maintain valid identification and any required licenses or certifications
• Perform services professionally and to the best of your ability when engaged by customers
• Use appropriate tools, equipment, and quality materials
• Treat customers and their property with respect
• Communicate clearly about work scope, pricing, and any additional requirements
• Comply with all applicable laws, safety regulations, and industry standards
• Maintain appropriate insurance coverage where required
• Not use the Platform to post misleading, false, or fraudulent information

8. Reviews & Ratings

• Reviews must be honest, accurate, and based on actual service experience
• We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our guidelines or contain inappropriate content
• Fake reviews, incentivized reviews, or review manipulation is strictly prohibited
• Service Providers may respond to reviews in a professional manner
• Ratings contribute to Service Provider visibility on the Platform

9. Intellectual Property

• The Platform, including its design, logo, content, and features, is owned by PoltuDa.in
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without permission
• Trademarks, service marks, and logos are the property of their respective owners
• Content submitted by Service Providers (profile info, photos) remains their property, but they grant us a license to display it on the Platform
• Any feedback or suggestions you provide may be used by us without obligation to you

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PoltuDa.in, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any content you submit or share on the Platform
• Any engagement, transaction, or dispute between you and a Service Provider or customer

12. Dispute Resolution

12.1 Between Users and Service Providers

Any dispute arising between a user and a service provider must be resolved directly between the parties involved. PoltuDa.in does not mediate, arbitrate, or take responsibility for resolving such disputes. However, if a Service Provider is found to be acting fraudulently or in violation of our terms, we may remove their listing from the Platform.

12.2 Legal Disputes with PoltuDa.in

• These Terms are governed by the laws of India
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Buniadpur, West Bengal, India
• Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt good-faith resolution through our support channels

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• For material changes, we will post a prominent notice on the Platform
• Registered Service Providers will be notified via email for significant changes
• Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms
• If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the Platform

14. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and PoltuDa.in regarding the Platform
• Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect
• Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not constitute a waiver of that right
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our consent
• Force Majeure: We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our control
• Language: These Terms are provided in English. In case of translation conflicts, the English version prevails
